Why Us?

At Gemkart, we bring over 17 years of unmatched expertise in coloured gemstones, led by a certified gemologist from the Gemological Institute of India (GII) and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Our journey began with deep-rooted relationships built directly with gemstone miners in various parts of the world, ensuring that every gem we source meets the highest standards of authenticity and natural origin.

In 2003, we opened our first retail showroom in Chandigarh, grounded in the belief that gemstones should be pure, untreated, and ethically sourced. By 2008, our commitment to quality and trust led to the launch of our gemstone brand ‘Vishhwas’.

We’ve worked in close collaboration with GIA to host exclusive gemological seminar, and since 2017, we've had the honour of leading the North India Chapter of the Forum of Indian Gemologists. Our founder was also featured in the prestigious publication ‘Chandigarh & Its Leading Personalities’ in 2017.

What makes us different is our strong commitment to honesty. We learned early that real gemstones, formed over millions of years and connected to planetary energies, have the power to heal and bring positive change. But it was upsetting to see so many fake or treated stones being sold with false promises. That’s why from the beginning, we decided to sell only 100% natural, untreated, and certified gemstones — with complete honesty and full information for our customers.
